The Heartland Huskie volleyball team came home with one win against the Wilbur Wolverines on Thursday. They won 2-1 (25-19, 22-25, 25-19). They lost in two sets to host Sandy Creek 17-21 and 21-25. Sandy Creek won their triangular, beating Wilbur in two sets (25-13, 25-11).
In the match against Wilbur, Riley Quiring led the team with eight kills, followed by Jamison Klein with six. Klein served three aces against the Wolverines. Riley Quiring had a team-high nine kills in their match against the Sandy Creek Cougars.
The Huskies will be in action again against Sutton on Tuesday, September 10 at Sutton.
