Heritage Day this Saturday is packed full of great activities for the whole family, so here is a rundown of the day’s happenings!
ALL DAY:Â Deep Well Irrigation Display open in machine shed, Horse Drawn Wagon rides around the park, antique tractor displays, ethnic food sales, corn shelling, rope making, hay baling, butter making, and laundry day.
MORNING ACTIVITIES:  Country School sessions and vintage kids games from 9:30-11:00 a.m. The Goertzen string band performs in the Country Church at 10:00 a.m., and at 11:00 a.m. there will be sewing demonstrations in the Immigrant House all morning and sausage making outside the barn. Cat’s Cradle vintage photos will be at the Depot from 10:00 a.m.-Noon.
AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES:Â Organ playing in the Farmhouse by Nancy Friesen from 12:00 p.m.-12:30 p.m. Outdoor organ music by Marci Manwarren will be off and on all day. The apple press will be working outside the barn until they run out of apples. The General Store will be open all day with access to the GRANDMA genealogy program.
