The Heartland Huskie Volleyball team headed down to Wymore for the Southern Tournament on Saturday morning.
The Huskies started off the morning on a roll facing and defeating Malcolm in two sets, 25-21 and 25-19. Continuing the success, the Huskies took down Southern in two sets, 25-11 and 25-11.
The girls then got a second chance at playing Thayer Central. Â Heartland matched up well against them, but could not pull out the win as they lost in two sets, 21-25 and 18-25.
The Huskies are not done heading to tournaments as they have a two-day tournament at Hastings St. Cecilia this Tuesday and Thursday. If you can’t attend you can follow our live blog on HeartlandBeat.com.
