The Heartland Huskie Football team had a rough go on Friday night against the Deshler Dragons as they took a 36-70 defeat.
The team got off to a slow start and allowed Deshler to get some quick scoring in the first half. Â The Huskies managed to put points on the board before the end of the half, but the momentum was hard to turn.
The team pulled together and started to get more of a rhythm in the second half, but it was not enough to close the gap.
The team looks to improve their 0-2 record as they travel to Shelton on Friday, September 16 for a 7pm game time to take on the Bulldogs.
