An 18-year-old woman was charged Tuesday in connection with a fatal crash in York County in October 2024, according to court records.
Anna Janzen, of Henderson, was charged with misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide and failing to yield the right of way. Deputies with the York County Sheriff’s Department were sent to the intersection of Road F and Road 6 in a rural part of the county near Henderson at about 2:10 p.m. on Oct. 12 on the report of a two-vehicle crash, according to a county news release. The other driver, 88-year-old Leroy Friesen of Henderson, was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
