Henderson Health Care Services Press Release

Henderson Health Care is expanding its commitment to accessible, high-quality rural healthcare with the construction of a new clinic on its campus. Scheduled to break ground in late May, the $5 million project will significantly enhance care offerings and capacity for patients throughout the region.

The 10,250-square-foot clinic will feature 12 exam rooms, 2 procedure suites, an on-site laboratory and diagnostic services, and an expanded area for admissions and care coordination. Designed with input from patients and providers, the facility aims to enhance both the patient experience and the work environment for clinical teams.

The new clinic will offer expanded primary care services, chronic disease management, preventative screenings, and greater access to specialists. Groundbreaking is scheduled for late May, with the facility expected to open its doors in roughly 12 months.

“This new clinic represents our continued commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of rural families,” said Henderson Health Care CEO, Cheryl Brown. “The construction of our new, larger rural healthcare clinic is a vital investment in the future of the communities we serve. As the need for accessible, high-quality care continues to grow, so must our capacity to deliver it. This expanded facility will allow us to serve more patients, offer more services, and strengthen the health of this region for generations to come.”

Henderson Health Care has served the region since 1950 and remains a leader in rural healthcare innovation and delivery. The new clinic is part of a long-term vision to improve health outcomes and support the growing healthcare needs of rural Nebraskans.
