The Heartland boys’ golf team competed at the Thayer Central Invite on Wednesday, at the Hebron Country Club golf course placing 6th as a team.
Creighton Friesen was in a four-way tie for the runner-up place, scoring a 78 along with Jaydon Friesen (Sutton), Jedric Dankenbring (Thayer Central), and Jacob Klooz (EMF). Creighton won the tie on a scorecard playoff, winning 2nd place overall. Lukas Kroll from Thayer Central won the tournament, carding a 76.
