The Heartland Jr. High girls’ and boys’ track teams competed at the Sandy Creek Invite on Thursday, April 10.
Some highlights of the meet were a 1st place in the shot put for Jagger Regier with a 39’3.25″ throw and a 3rd place finish in the 800 for a time of 2:31.96. Micah Haidle placed 4th in the high jump at 4’10”. The boys’ 4 x 100 M relay team placed 2nd with a time of 53.08.
The girls won the 4 x 100 Throwers Relay with a time of 1:10.07. The 4 x 100 relay team placed 4th at 1:02.80, and Keely Burgess placed 4th in the 400-meter run at 1:13.17.
