Congratulations to Braden Mierau, who earned a trip to the Capitol on Friday, March 14, as a top ten finalist for this year’s Nebraska American Mothers Association essay contest, “What My Mother Means to Me.” Braden’s essay honored his mother, Nicole. Governor Jim Pillen was present at the ceremony.

Thank you to Mrs. Maltsberger for promoting this annual essay contest with her fifth-grade students.
