Perennial Public Power District Press Release
Perennial Public Power recently announced the retirement of Orie Friesen from the Perennial Public Power Board of Directors after 13 years of service. Orie and his wife Linda recently retired from farming in the Henderson area. Grant Schmidt, another Henderson area farmer, was elected in the November general election and joined the board in January, representing Subdivision One. Congratulations to both Friesen and Schmidt for their past and future service on this board.

All corporate powers of the District are vested in and exercised by a Board of Directors consisting of six members, each serving staggered terms of not more than six years. Directors are elected by qualified voters within the District.
Regular Board Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month at 9:00 A.M. A continuously revised agenda is available for public inspection at the York office headquarters, 2122 South Lincoln Avenue in York, Nebraska. These meetings are open to the public.
