Heartland FBLA Press Release
The Heartland FBLA chapter celebrated FBLA Week with a variety of exciting activities, prizes, and treats, making it a memorable experience for all members. This special week aimed to engage students, promote business education, and recognize the impact of FBLA on future business leaders.
Each day, students were presented with interesting FBLA facts and a question of the day. This interactive challenge gave members the chance to test their knowledge about FBLA while competing for a fun prize. It was a great way to increase awareness about the organization while keeping students engaged. With their correct responses, Tara Buzek and Ben Thomas won prizes, demonstrating their knowledge and enthusiasm for FBLA.
To express gratitude for their support and dedication, teachers were treated to delicious cookies from the Hatchery. This small gesture was a way to thank them for their guidance and encouragement in helping students develop leadership and business skills.
One of the most exciting activities of the week was the candy heart guessing contest. Students had the opportunity to guess the number of candy hearts in a jar, with the winner receiving a candy-filled heart and a pizza party for two. This friendly competition added a fun and festive touch to the celebration. With a guess of 527, Thane Wetjen won the grand prize! The jar contained 517 candy hearts, making Thane’s guess impressively close.
To show appreciation for their dedication, members were surprised with locker treats, bringing smiles to their faces. Additionally, Henderson State Bank generously provided breakfast tacos, giving members a delicious way to start their day. The support from the local community was a great reminder of how FBLA connects students with business leaders and professionals.
The celebration concluded with members proudly wearing their Heartland FBLA chapter t-shirts, showing their spirit and dedication to the organization. This final day served as a reminder of the friendships, learning experiences, and leadership opportunities that FBLA provides.
Heartland FBLA Week was a fantastic success, bringing together students through education, fun, and community support. With exciting activities and meaningful engagement, members were reminded of the many opportunities FBLA offers for growth and success.
As we look ahead, the Heartland FBLA chapter remains committed to fostering leadership, business skills, and teamwork. Here’s to another great year of FBLA!
