Construction continues in front of the school, completing a sewer line, keeping Front Street closed for another week.
Front Street will reopen in front of the Heartland Community School in another week. According to Heartland Superintendent Klein, it should reopen early Monday morning, December 9th. Residents will have to be a bit creative in choosing alternate driving routes since Front Street is the go-to for most of us traveling in and out of town. It was closed on November 25 to complete a sewer line for the school’s new construction. The parking lot and Circle Drive can still be accessed from the west, but Front Street is closed to any traffic to the east.
