The Heartland Huskies’ matchup against the Thayer-Central Titans was a struggle from the get-go. They were down by 60 points by halftime and could only score once in the third quarter. The Titans were 6-3 last year and had a strong showing from their standout senior running back Sam Souerdyke, who racked up 124 yards rushing against the Huskies.
Heartland will host the Sutton Mustangs on Friday, September 6th.
