YORK COUNTY — The vast majority of York County Republican voters cast ballots for Donald Trump, Deb Fischer, Pete Ricketts and Adrian Smith when they went to the polls on Primary Election Day.
The following are break-downs of how local Republicans voted for their party’s candidates running on the national level:
- President: Donald Trump, 1,538; Nikki Haley, 366; Perry Johnson, 46.
- U.S. Senator: Deb Fischer, 1,606; Arron Kowalski, 446
- U.S. Senator: Pete Ricketts, 1,612; John Glen Weaver, 314; Mac Stevens, 121
- District 3 Congressional Representative: Adrian Smith, 1,513; John Walz, 380; Robert McCuiston, 13
The following are break-downs of how York County Democrats voted for their party’s candidates running on the national level:
- President: Joseph Biden, 236; Dean Phillips, 44
- U.S. Senator (6-year term): Write-ins, 35
- U.S. Senator (2-year term): Preston Love Jr., 239
- District 3 Congressional Representative: Daniel Ebers, 154; David Else, 107

The latest voter registration information from the Nebraska Secretary of State’s office shows there are 9,235 registered voters in York County. Of those, 6,216 are Republicans; 1,341 are Democrats; 111 are Libertarians; 32 are members of the Legal Marijuana NOW party; and 1,535 are non-partisan.
