YORK – As a public hearing nears, York County residents can view the most recently updated proposed zoning regulations for solar projects.
The most recently updated proposed regulations, as of April 3, can be accessed through a link on the county’s homepage at: https://www.yorkcounty.ne.gov/uploads/1/4/5/5/145507130/solar_regulations_updated_040324.pdf
The public hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m., on Monday, April 15, at the Holthus Convention Center. The county commissioners will convene for the purpose of discussing the regulations and hearing from the public on the matter.
This long-awaited public hearing comes after months of conversation and regulation writing by the county’s planning and zoning commission, to be followed by weeks of review and revision by the county commissioners themselves.
The public is encouraged to review the most recent version of the proposed regulations and then to attend the hearing on April 15.
