The Heartland girls’ and boys’ track teams traveled to Sutton on Tuesday, March 19, for their first outdoor meet. Considering the early spring weather in Nebraska, they enjoyed a great day with temperatures in the upper 60s and not too windy.
Eleven teams competed at the invite; the girls were 6th overall, and the boys were 4th. First-place finishes were Tara Buzek in the 800, Nick Thieszen in the 400 M run, and the boys 4 x 8 relay with Holden Switzer, Nick Thieszen, Hendric Switzer, and Hudson Regier.
