Beckett Siebert is with his parents, Jessica and Taylor Siebert, after playing in his first All-Star basketball game.
Beckett Siebert is a sixth grader at Heartland Community Schools who was chosen from 138 nominated boys to play in the Battle Sport/Blair Freeman All-Star Basketball Game. The All-Star game included two sixth-grade boys teams of 14 that played against each other on Tuesday, March 19, at the Belleview East High School Gym.

During half-time of the game, a three-point shooting contest was held, and Beckett was chosen as one of five from his team to compete. The winner had a total of 15 points, and Beckett completed 12 points during the contest. Beckett was one of two players chosen from the Lincoln Supreme team he plays on.
Beckett played on the green team, which battled back and forth with the white team. The game was tied at the end, so they played a sudden death overtime, and the white team came out on top, winning 77-75.
Congratulations to Beckett for this honor!
