This was the second time in five days the Huskies had to face off against the Sandy Creek Cougars. The Huskies played a better game in their home loss on Friday to the Cougars losing by 21 points.
After winning a tough first-round game on Monday night against the Superior Wildcats, the Huskies returned to Sandy Creek to face the Cougars for second-round subdistrict action. The Huskies were only able to score 17 points in the first half and weren’t able to make up the difference, losing 38-70.
Thane Wetjen led the team in scoring 13 points, followed by Carter Siebert with 7. The Cougars leading scorer was Ethan Shaw again with 25 points and they had three other players scoring in double digits.
The Huskies finished their season with a record of 7-13.
