The Heartland Community Schools FBLA Chapter traveled to Kearney on Wednesday, Feb. 7, to compete in the 6th Annual UNK Loper Business Invitational. Students competed by putting their knowledge to the test in two separate subjects from Business Calculations, Business Communication, Economics, Intro to Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Intro to Financial Math, Personal Finance, Intro to IT, and one student participated in a Job Interview.
In addition to testing, students had the opportunity to check out the UNK food scene in the Nebraskan Student Union as well as question a panel of current college students and learn more about what it means to be a Loper.
