YORK – A meeting of the York County Zoning and Planning Commission has been scheduled, regarding new local regulations pertaining to solar fields.
Nate Heinz, the county’s planning and zoning administrator, told the York County Commissioners the meeting has been set for Monday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m., at the Holthus Convention Center.
Heinze said the meeting will have a portion open for public comments and the planning/zoning commission members will discuss the county regulations before them. At this meeting, they are scheduled to make a decision regarding the committee’s recommendation to the county commissioners.
The additional regulations, to be added to the county’s zoning regulations, will be determined by the county commissioners at a later date, after they are presented by the planning and zoning commission.
