Huskies Compete at Southern Nebraska Conference Track Meet at Thayer Central

The Heartland track teams traveled to Hebron for the Southern Nebraska Conference meet, competing with ten other schools on Saturday, April 29.

Some highlights of the day were a first-place finish for the 4 x 400-meter boys’ relay team with a time of 3:41.49. William Nielsen came in a close second in the 800-meter run posting a time of 2:11.92, getting beat by Milford’s Hudson Mullet, coming in at 2:10.44. The boys placed 9th overall at the meet.

For the girls, Allie Boehr placed 4th in the shot put with a throw of 33.01. ft. Three girls placed in the pole vault, led by Mariah Tessman, 3rd at 9-06.00, Hallie Tessman, 5th at 8-06.00, and Emersyn Oswald, 8th at 8-00.00. The girls placed 11th overall at the meet.
