Heartland’s track season is just beginning to heat up along with the weather! They competed in the Doane University Indoor Meet on March 16th and their first outdoor meet at the Sutton Invitational on March 21st. Here are the results of individuals who placed and a team roster.
The Doane Track & Field Invite was the first meet of the season held indoors. There were eight schools participating. The Huskie boys placed 3rd with 46 points, and the girls placed 6th with 37 points.
Boys Results:
400 M Dash: 3rd place – Luis Alverez; 58.87, 6th place – Hudson Regier; 1:00.72

The Sutton Invite had 12 schools participating. The Heartland boys’ team placed 7th posting 43 points. The girls’ team placed 12th with 1 point for 5th place in the 4 x 800 M Relay: Eloise Casper, KatrinaMarie Epp, Jamisen Klein, Reese Regier; 13:14.50
