On May 21, it was announced that the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, with guidance from Henderson Health Care Medical Staff, decided to cancel the full-fledged annual community days celebration amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Even though the second weekend in July will not be packed with the activities we are accustomed to, there will still be some safer events taking place. Henderson Chamber Director Aubrey Saltus commented, “Though we have had to modify Community Days as we know it, I’m glad we can still honor the tradition of the weekend with fireworks, golf, and food!”
