The Heartland Boys Basketball Team spent the past week in subdistrict play. Their first game was against McCool Junction on Tuesday. In a close battle, the Huskies pulled off a win in overtime. Thursday they faced Nebraska Lutheran for the subdistrict final. It was a much more comfortable game as the Huskies broke away with a lead that the Knights were unable to catch up to.
The Huskies will play in the D1-4 District Final against Fullerton on Tuesday at Aurora at 7:00 p.m.
