Last week the Huskie Basketball Teams competed in the Southern Nebraska Conference Championships. The girls won their first game over Fairbury. After advancing, they lost to Sandy Creek but won over Sutton in the consolation game. Congrats to the girls on placing third in the tournament!
The boys lost their first game of the tournament last Monday night to Milford ending their play. Milford did go on to win the SNC boys championship game.
As their seasons near the end, the girls hold a 16-4 season record and the boys are 8-8. This week the teams will play Deshler on Tuesday and Osceola on Thursday before the girls head into subdistricts next week.
