christmas treeIt’s been five years since the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park hosted it’s special “Country Christmas” event. The entire park will be decorated with dozens of trees decked out by community volunteers, businesses, and organizations. It will take place Saturday, November 26th from 4-7 PM.

Enjoy a stroll around the park taking in the many festive sights and sounds. The decorated Christmas trees will be in all the buildings throughout the park for viewing. Santa Claus will be visiting the schoolhouse handing out goodies to the kids. Christmas carols will be performed around the park throughout the evening.

Hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and cookies will be served in the Epp Barn loft during the event. Admission for the event is $10 for adults and free for kids 12 & under accompanied by an adult. For more information, contact LaVonne Thiessen at 402-723-4559.
