Don’t miss this great day at the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park Saturday, September 14, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  The wood stove will be fired up and serving fresh waffles on antique irons with cream sauce right away in the morning. New Year’s Cookies will be fried fresh all day along with all your favorite ethnic foods in the barn. Horse and buggy rides, country school, bread and butter making, laundry day, cider making, and sewing demonstrations are just a few of the fun things for the whole family.
Enjoy the multiple string instruments of The Goertzen Band performing at 10:00 a.m. in the Country Church. Cats Cradle Photography will be offering vintage photo shoots at the park and The General Store will be open with volunteers assisting with any genealogy searches. The apple press will be busy turning out fresh apple cider but apples are still needed. Please bring apples to the park on Friday.
