The course is looking great thanks to lots of volunteer TLC and generous Nebraska rains. Dads flocked to take advantage of the great golfing conditions on Father’s Day. Sunday also included our first hole-in-one of the season. Ken Bergen made short work of hole number four. Normally it is not one of our more generous holes for one shot wonders. His wife, Maxine, was his witness as he gave himself a great gift.
The children who attended our golf camp have been taking advantage of our reduced daytime rates for our younger set. Remember, golfers 15 and under can golf weekdays until 4:00 p.m. for $10 instead of the usual $14. We would like to see more of our “free with adult golfer†coupons used also.
Early interest in the women’s night out golf has been sparse. This is a FUN night with no pressure. We will offer some basic group lessons and the golfing will celebrate the unusual shots along with the occasional conventional good shot. We would like to get this organized for July, so please call the clubhouse to express your interest.
Galaway is also going to offer our form of Temperature Tuesdays as the weather gets warmer. When the mercury rises, the cost of renting a cart will go down. Come in on Tuesdays to get details and savings. Details will be posted on our Facebook page. Like us there for yet another discount and other deals which will pop up now and then.
