Curious about what’s happening out at the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park? If so, check out their recently redesigned website at www.hendersonheritage.org. It received a “face-lift†this year making it more visitor friendly with up-to-date information about park events, pictures, history, and displays.
Click on the “About†tab and each park building is listed and pictured with its history and purpose. There is a tab for the “Gift Shop†with pictures and prices of everything for sale at the General Store. If you need to know about an upcoming event at the park, just click on “Events†and find current information for all Heritage Park events.
Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park also recently joined Facebook and has its own Facebook page. “Like†Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park to receive timely posts about what’s going on at the park.
The park opens for the season on Memorial Weekend and has added an additional day to its open hours. It will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and is always available by appointment by calling Marj at 402-723-5793.
