A new Christmas event for the whole family will be happening at the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park instead of the annual Christmas Tour of Homes.  It will take place Saturday, November 24, from 4-7 p.m. at the Heritage Park.

The entire park will be lit up for Christmas with many festive sights and sounds.  Christmas trees decorated by community volunteers and organizations will be on display all over the park.  District #73E Country School will be having traditional skits and readings, and Christmas carol singing will take place in the Country Church.  Santa Claus will be visiting and handing out goodies.  Hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and cookies will be served in the Epp Barn loft.

Admission at the gate will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.  This event is a fund-raiser for Henderson Heritage & Tourism.  For more information contact LaVonne Thiessen at 402-723-4559.
