A dedication service for not only the newly completed country church, but the entire Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park will take place at the Heritage Park Church on Sunday, October 14, at 2 p.m. prior to the Q125 Birthday Party at 3 p.m. The completion of the church anchored at the north end facing the Immigrant House at the opposite side of the park is a significant milestone for the Heritage Park.
Norm Yoder, one of the original members of Henderson Heritage & Tourism, will speak at the dedication service followed by the singing of a few hymns and a dedication prayer. Â The public is invited to share in this dedication service that will end around 2:45 p.m. and then continue on to the school for the Q125 Birthday Party.
