With the introduction of the new Henderson Chamber website, www.HendersonNE.com, in February, many efforts have been made to keep the website up-to-date with photos and content. If you visit the Henderson blog, you will notice that information about events and activities happening in Henderson are updated weekly. As we expand upon this effort to maintain an up-to-date website, quarterly photo contests will be held to keep seasonal photos rotating on the homepage.
For the first photography contest we are looking for spring pictures that represent the themes of live, work and play in Henderson. We want to see pictures of Henderson residents working, playing and living in our community. Whether you have taken some pictures of your family already this spring doing different activities or want to stage some spring photographs we want them to be entered in our contest.
Photos should be submitted in a JPG format by email to hchamber@mainstaycomm.net or posted on the “Henderson, Nebraska†Facebook page by June 1st.  The top picture in each category (live, work, play) will be displayed in local news media and will run on the front page of www.HendersonNE.com until August 1st.
