The Annual Easter Egg Hunt was exciting again this year. Although it was a bit breezy Saturday morning, that did not stop the large crowd of 0-9 year olds with their families to come find hidden goodies at the Swimming Pool and the parks surrounding.
The kids had such a good time and enjoyed finding the surprises, but the fun did not last long. With the great turnout, the three age divisions and all the excitement, it took no longer than twenty minutes before most of the prizes were all snatched up.
The fun continued on, however, as friends and families stayed at the parks and enjoyed time together while the kids made good use of the playground equipment. Families from out of town got to spend time in Henderson while visiting for Easter. It was a wonderful time had by all. Thanks to the Henderson Recreation Department for putting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt together.
