Congratulations to the Heartland Lady Huskies team who defeated the Centennial Broncos in the 2nd round of the Southern Nebraska Conference basketball tournament by the score of 29-26. Â Despite the game not going how the Huskies wanted it to go they showed a lot of heart and pulled out the win to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
The Huskies really struggled to knock down shots last night and the Broncos took advantage as they headed into halftime with a four point lead over the Huskies. Â However, the Huskies came storming back in the 3rd quarter and out-scored the Broncos 12-4. Â Heartland hit some shots and free throws down the stretch which propelled them to the win.
