When the Senior Center closed at the end of 2010, the board members of the Senior Center decided it would be appropriate to donate any additional funds the organization had to a local organization. After much discussion, the group unanimously decided that the remaining funds would be donated to Henderson Health Care Services, Inc.
Members of the Senior Center Board, including: Lorene Friesen, Henry H. Quiring, Arnold Siebert, John Kliewer, and Elsie Friesen, presented Jill Myers, CFO of Henderson Health Care Services, with a check for $25,627.74.
With the consent of the Senior Center Board, Henderson Health Care Services has decided to use the funds for projects in the Henderson Care Center including remodeling and renovation.
