This past month 25 kids from ages 8-14 headed out to Henderson’s Galaway Creek Golf Course to attend this year’s Junior Golf Camp. Â The camp took place from 10:00am – 11:30am on June 20, 22, 24, 27, & 29. Â The kids were instructed by Heartland’s Girls Golf Coach Jon Baehr and Jim Mestl. Throughout the 5 days the kids learned more about the game of golf such as golf etiquette, proper use of irons, woods, and putter, how to count your score, and experience a tournament. Â Overall the camp was success and the kids had a great time playing the game of golf.
