This month, HeartlandBeat.com would like to recognize the Heartland Girl’s 4×100 Meter Relay Team as our Student(s) of the Month.  Members of this year’s State Championship 4×1 team are: Freshman Bailey Carr, Sophomores Ashton Kroeker and Sara Brune, Junior Jennifer Yoder and Senior Tori Bittinger (alternate).
As addressed in our article last month, State Track: Small but Mighty, the Heartland 4×1 Girls team won the Class C State Championship at Burke Stadium in Omaha on May 21. Â These five girls put their heart and soul into dedicating themselves to their school work, their teammates and their athletic ability on the track.
They worked hard on and off the field and deserve to be recognized as June’s Students of the Month for their Student-Athlete hard work.  Job well done girls!
