The Huskies come out shooting strong and hitting big to complete the night with a 53-42 win over the Tri County Trojans. Mikaelyn Dick started the first quarter hitting three big three pointers to get the team started right. She finished the night with four three’s and a total of 20 points. The rest of the team also stepped up their game from the very get-go. Tori Bittinger also aided big in the game with her solid all-around play and a big offensive night, finishing with 12 points.
The team held strong with rebounds and keeping the Cougars at bay. Allison Braun had a good game under the boards and was able to get some big second shots under the board. She finished the night with eight points.
This young team is really putting the pieces together and playing well towards the latter half of this season going into the Conference Tournament. The girls with kick off the tournament Monday night against Centennial at home at 7pm.
