Although the score may not show it, the Huskie girls played the Milford Eagles tough tonight, but lost 32-55. The Huskies came out strong with a huge effort by Sara Brune, scoring 10 or her team leading 12 points in the first quarter. The team pulled together and stuck with the Eagles til early in the fourth quarter. Foul trouble hit the Huskies and the Eagles turned up the defensive pressure and this proved to be too much to handle as the game slipped out of reach. The team finished the regular season fighting hard and keeping a 9-11 record heading into post season play.
