The Heartland Girls team had their last game Monday night at McCool, battling the BDS (Bruning, Davenport/Shickley) Eagles for a chance to play on in districts. They ended their season losing 29-41 with a record of 4-14.

The Heartland Huskie girls' and boys' teams traveled to Centennial on Tuesday, and both came away with big losses.

The Heartland Huskie girls and boy's basketball teams played in the consolation round of the Southern Nebraska Conference Basketball Tournament on Saturday at Centennial. The girls lost to Sandy Creek 37-53, and the boys won a close one against David City, winning 37-35.

The Huskies lost to the Sutton Fillies 21-51 in the second round of the SNC Basketball Tournament on Tuesday.

The Heartland girls' and boys' basketball teams hosted the first round of the SNC tournament on Monday, January 29.

The girls' and boys' Heartland basketball teams hosted Exeter-Milligan/Friend on Thursday, January 25, but both were defeated.
