York County Press Release
YORK COUNTY — The York County Sheriff’s Office has announced Criminal Investigator Nolan Janzen has successfully completed the department’s field training program.
Janzen will serve in the role as criminal Investigator. He came to the sheriff’s department with previous law enforcement experience.
“Our field training program is used to teach newly-hired deputies about practices, policies, and proper procedures associated with being a deputy at our agency,” said YSO Sergeant Taylor Samek. “The program lasts 16 weeks and is taught in addition to the training received from the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.”
Sgt. Samek, who serves as the field training coordinator, presented Criminal Investigator Janzen with the department’s challenge coin to celebrate this achievement.
