Here are the results for the Huskies who competed on Friday at the Nebraska State Track Championships in Omaha. Congrats to seniors Carter Siebert and Sam Quiring for bringing home some medals!
Carter Siebert placed 6th in the high jump at 6’2′ and Sam Quiring tied for 7th place at 6’2″.

Freshman Sophie Minary competed in the discus, throwing 101-01 for 21st place.
Sophie, Luis, and Sam Friesen’s photos were not available today, but more will be posted in the next few days of all Heartland athletes who competed at the State track meet.
Senior Luis Alvarez placed 15th in the 400-meter run and made the finals with a time of 51.68. Junior Sam Friesen competed in the 100-meter run and did not make the finals, running 11.38 in the prelims.
