HHCS Foundation Press Release
On the evening of March 1st, 320 attendees gathered at the Holthus Convention Center in York, Nebraska, for the Henderson Health Care Foundation’s annual fundraiser, GROWTH Gala. Lynn Hall served as Master of Ceremonies, playing an important role in tying the evening together. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to win $1,000 cash with an entertaining coin flip game, as well as a chance to win a pair of 2.5CT diamond earrings with the purchase of a glass of champagne and a ‘gem’ at Bubbly & Bling.
This year’s silent auction featured over 100 items, thanks to many generous donors across the region. A gourmet dinner was served by Kerry’s Restaurant & Catering, followed by an impressive assortment of desserts donated by local baking enthusiasts. Guests enjoyed the usual excitement of the live auction, with Ross Ronne leading the bids. The Downtown Collective Band added to the classic ambience of the evening, with beautiful instrumentals during cocktail hour. Later in the evening, guests enjoyed a very lively and talented performance, where dancing and fellowship followed.
HHCF Executive Director Carli Reiners said, “On behalf of the Henderson Health Care Foundation, we would like to extend our utmost thanks and appreciation to the generous sponsors, individual donors, volunteers, board members, and all who attended our third-annual GROWTH Gala. The funds raised truly do GROW our ability to continue patient-centered care close to home. The generosity of this region leaves a lasting impact for future generations. I hope that all who were involved can appreciate the part they play in leaving this legacy.”
A total of $125,914 was raised to support HHC. This year, the proceeds will help offset the cost of a new mammography machine with stereotactic breast biopsy capability.
The Henderson Health Care Foundation will hold its next GROWTH Gala on March 7, 2026, at the Holthus Convention Center in York, Nebraska.
