Heartland has already had a few home basketball games this season, and it takes lots of folks to ensure everything runs smoothly. We often take for granted the work our teachers do for the school, and one of them is selling tickets to the games. We spotted Heartland librarian Gina Mestl selling tickets to the game at the cafeteria entrance at Thursday’s home game against Fillmore Central. Heartland teachers are not paid extra for this duty, but taking turns is just part of their job. Next time you check into a home game, thank these teachers!
