It was an exciting Friday night at the Heartland gym, with both the girls and the boys beating the Wilbur Wolverines. The girls had a convincing win with a final score of 56-24. Mia Hiebner led the scoring with 16 points, Jamisen Klein 12, Arinae Sololuze 8, Hallie Tessman 8, Tara Buzek 6, Emersyn Oswald 4, and Lauren Splinter 2.
The boy’s game was closer, but the Huskies prevailed, winning 49-36. The Huskies took command in the third quarter, scoring a sizzling 17 points, and never lost their lead. Leading the Huskies with 15 points were Trenton Goertzen, Thane Wetjen 10, Maddox Regier 9, Carter Siebert 9, and Sam Quiring 6.
