The Heartland Huskie boys’ and girls’ basketball teams traveled to Fairbury on Thursday for their season opener. The girls lost 28-61, and the boys lost 28-39. New this year is the shot clock for high school games, which affected the game by causing more turnovers for shot clock violations.
