Join in the fun on November 30th on Small Business Saturday for a small-town shop hop. The event’s official name is “Thankful Weekend.” There will be four area towns with 11 Businesses participating.
Coverly Boutique, located at 1020 14th Street, Henderson, and owned by Karley Friesen, features the latest in modest women’s clothing and accessories for any age.
Ivy & Main has a wide selection of gifts for everyone, faith-based items, and seasonal decorations. They also have a large selection of Geometry towels. Ivy & Main is located at 1016 N. Main Street, Henderson, and is owned by Kim Janzen.
Located at 946 N. Main Street, Henderson, The Petal Pusher, owned by Pat Goossen, offers classy and unique gifts for any occasion and home décor, including floral designs and candles.
Rural & Well Boutique, owned by Carli Isrealson-Reiners, is at 905 N. Main Street, Henderson. This unique store focuses on self-care, with clothing, shoes, jewelry, and other biblical items of encouragement.
Willow Station, just outside of Henderson at 10 N. Road, is owned by JoAnn Friesen. This seasonal store features unique home décor, furniture, and much more. All Henderson businesses will be open from 9 am-3 pm (except The Hatchery).
The next stop is 705 Road 22, Bradshaw; the HN Market is located at Harmony Nursery and Daylily Farm. This gift shop has a wide variety of gift items, as well as a Modern Farmhouse home and garden décor. It is owned by Jenni Harrington and will be open from 9 am-3 pm.
Goodypop can be found in York at 113 East 6th Street. It is owned by Emory Conrad, who worked at the store for four years before purchasing it in May of 2024, just a week after graduating from High School. Goodypop features many flavors of gourmet popcorn and other items. You can shop from 9 am-3 pm.
Kirtsey’s Clothing & Gift Boutique is owned by Kirby Crawford and located at 723 Lincoln Ave. in York. Kirtsey prides itself on its exceptional customer service to provide quality clothing that customers will LOVE when they walk out the door. They will be open from 9 am-4 pm.
Travel over to Stromsburg from 9 am–2 pm to visit Route 81 Boutique. They feature trendy and functional fashion that appeals to teens through middle-aged women. They are located in the 4th Street Coffee House. Owners are sisters Emily Peterson and Lydia Brooke.
The Creamery, located in the historic Charles H. Morris Homestead at 1328 125th Road, Stromsburg, is an occasional gift shop that features unique and Scandinavian-inspired gifts. They are open from 10 am-5 pm.
