This year’s One-Act play is “Soundscapes.” It centers around a young girl named Iris who experiences synesthesia, meaning she “sees” colors and shapes when she hears sounds. This often causes her to feel isolated as others don’t share this perception; the play explores her struggles to navigate this condition and her journey toward accepting her unique self.
The public is invited to attend this play at the Heartland School Theater at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 21.
