The Heartland Huskie Volleyball team lost in two sets to Fairbury in their first round of conference action on Monday. They lost 15-25 and 9-25 to the Jeffs. Heartland played David City in the loser’s bracket on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and lost 8-25 and 14-25.
The SNC championship match will be between Thayer Central and Fairbury on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Milford. Superior and Milford will face off on Thursday for third place at 5:30 p.m. Fifth place will be between the David City/Centennial and the Fillmore Central/Tri-County match winners at 4:30 p.m.
The Huskies will have their next regular season match at David City on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
