Mia Hiebner continued her strong play, firing an 82 (42-40) to win the Adams-Central Invite at the Southern Hills Golf Club in Hastings on Monday, October 1st. This is the second year in a row that Hiebner has won the meet at Southern Hills. Last year, she shot a sizzling 80 to win first place. Heartland placed third overall in the team standings, with Emersyn Oswald shooting 114 (60-54) and Tara Buzek 116 (55-61).
Other teams competing were Adams-Central, Kearney Catholic, Lexington, North Platte, Northwest, Shelby-Rising City, and Sutton.
The Heartland golf team will hit the links again on Thursday to play at Centura Hills in Cairo.
